Our Evaluation Phase includes studying your hardware & software architecture, reverse engineering to understand undocumented systems, and learning your current and future needs. Only then do we design a Comprehensive Upgrade Plan to define and guide your project.
Types of Modernization
We’ve applied a variety of modernization strategies in real facilities with real constraints:
- In-situ modernization: Upgrading in place without removing hardware.
- Legacy system encapsulation: Wrapping old hardware with new interfaces so it continues functioning.
- Retrofit integration: Adding new capabilities to old systems, typically with some physical modification.
- System re-instrumentation: Updating measurement and control layers around old hardware.
